Coated glass, also known as reflective glass, involves applying one or more layers of metal, alloy, or metal compound films to the glass surface to alter its optical properties and meet specific requirements.
Based on different product characteristics, coated glass can be categorized into the following types: heat-reflective glass, low-emissivity (Low-E) glass, conductive film glass, and others.

What are the advantages of coated glass compared to ordinary glass?
1. Effective Solar Energy Blocking
Under identical conditions, indoor temperatures are reduced by 5–10°C, achieving comfort 20% faster (with air conditioning running), and saving 3%–8% on electricity bills.
2. Resistant to Dust Accumulation
Regular glass quickly accumulates thick layers of dust outdoors, requiring frequent cleaning. Coated glass, however, has low surface adhesion. Whether dust or dirty rainwater, particles struggle to adhere to the glass surface, delivering excellent dust and stain resistance.
3. Glare Reduction
Standard window glass typically transmits 80%–88% of visible light. Coated glass alters reflection and absorption properties, reducing visible light transmission to 71%–75%—a roughly 10% decrease. This minimizes brightness differences between indoor and outdoor scenes, effectively reducing glare and enhancing outdoor visibility.
4. Stable Performance
Coated glass utilizes a nano-coating layer that resists degradation, eliminating the hassle of repeated cleaning. Rainwater flows off more easily during wet weather, ensuring clearer visibility and cleaner windows.
