It is composed of two flat pieces of glass, separated by spacers to form a closed hollow cavity. The cavity is usually filled with dry air or inert gas (such as argon or krypton), and is strictly sealed around with sealant (butyl sealant + polysulfide sealant or silicone sealant).
Fire resistance glass is a special kind of glass that can meet the requirements of fire resistance stability, integrity and heat insulation within a specified time. It is widely used in building fire separation, safe evacuation channel and other scenes.
Insulating glass with aluminum spacer
It is the traditional and most common type of spacer bar for insulating glass. The spacer bar itself is made of solid aluminum profiles and is usually a continuous rectangular square tube. The interior is filled with desiccant to absorb the residual moisture in the hollow cavity. Connect the four corners by bending the corner key or by inserting the corner.
Insulating glass with tps spacer
TPS is a flexible, continuous warm-edge spacer system without any metal. It is extruded from a specially formulated butyl rubber (or similar thermoplastic material), with a desiccant mixed inside. During the glass lamination process, TPS is directly bonded to the edge of the glass through heating and pressure, forming a continuous, seamless sealing band.
Insulating glass with warm-edge spacer
Warm-edge spacer bars generally refer to various spacer systems with a thermal conductivity much lower than that of aluminum. Common types include:
Stainless steel spacer bars, composite material spacer bars, structural plastic spacer bars, flexible spacer bars/warm-edge rubber strips.
It is composed of three flat pieces of glass, with two spacer bars separating the glass to form two closed hollow cavities. The cavity is also filled with dry air or inert gas and is strictly sealed around. Compared with double glazed glass, it has better thermal insulation and sound insulation performance.
