Silk-screen glass, also known as screen-printed glass, is a processed product that uses screen printing technology to form patterns or text on the glass surface.
Silk-screen glass, also known as screen-printed glass, is a processed product that uses screen printing technology to form patterns or text on the glass surface. Its core principle is similar to traditional screen printing: first, the designed pattern is made into a screen printing plate (the mesh of the pattern part is retained on the plate, and the non-pattern part is blocked), and then the ink or glaze is squeezed through the mesh through the scraper and printed on the glass surface. Finally, it is baked at high temperature (usually 600℃-700℃) to fuse the ink with the glass surface to form a firm and wear-resistant pattern layer.
The uniqueness of this process lies in "customization" and "fusion" - the pattern can be fine lines, complex patterns, gradient colors or translucent textures, and can be combined with the transparent characteristics of the glass itself, which not only retains the texture of the glass, but also gives it decorativeness. At the same time, the pattern after high-temperature baking is acid-alkali resistant, UV-resistant, and not easy to fade, and can adapt to a variety of indoor and outdoor environments.
