I. What is Wired Glass? 

Wired glass (also known as safety glass or wire-reinforced glass) is an artistic glass technique where materials such as film, metal, or silk threads are sandwiched between two glass panes. The process involves heating ordinary flat glass to a red-hot, softened state and then using a rolling production method to press multiple layers of interlayer film, metal, or thread patterns into the semi-liquid glass ribbon. It is a highly functional decorative material that resists impact and shattering, withstands high temperatures, offers exceptional decorative appeal, and ensures privacy.

II. What are the characteristics of wired glass?
1. Strong decorative appeal: The interlayer material offers diverse options. Additionally, the glass can be customized in flat, wavy, or channel shapes to match patterns, and is available in various colors. Wired glass comes in a wide variety, including patterned wired, polished wired, and colored wired glass. Shapes include flat wired, wavy wired, and channel wired, all customizable to fit designs. It is commonly used in sliding doors, partitions, and similar applications.
2. Superior Safety: Manufactured using the rolling method, metal wire mesh coils are unwound from a mesh feeder and immersed into molten glass. The glass and mesh pass through upper and lower rolling mills to form wired glass. Its impact resistance is 5 to 10 times that of ordinary glass. When subjected to external pressure or violent impact, wired glass develops radial cracks without shattering into debris.
3. Superior Fire Resistance Withstands temperature differentials up to 300°C—three times that of standard glass. During fires, while the glass may shatter, the wire mesh or mesh structure holds the fragments together, maintaining structural integrity to a significant degree. This prevents airflow, blocks smoke diffusion, and effectively hinders fire spread.

III. How to Select Wired Glass
1. When purchasing wired glass, carefully inspect for air bubbles—high-quality glass should be bubble-free.
2. Next, examine whether the pattern is distorted or if any cracks are present. Check if the metal wires are fully embedded within the glass and not exposed on the surface.
3. Verify the product's 3C certification mark and quality inspection certificate.

IV. Applications of Wired Glass
